Alliance bags the GE Capital contract

GE Capital Business Process Management Services Pvt. Ltd. awards the development of "Customer Interface Solution " to Alliance Infotech.

GE Capital Services India has been delivering innovative financial solutions since 1993. With a vision to provide an easy to get, widely accessible value card, GE started its credit card division in 1998, through a joint venture with State Bank of India. Presently, the SBI Card is a classic Visa credit card, and is available in over 25 cities across India.

The Alliance Consulting team worked with GE – SBI to outline the requirements for this interface. GE SBI receives almost 20,000 calls every month from prospective and existing customers. Currently, customers are put on hold while the information is searched for. To put efficiency into the system and make the entire process automated, the Alliance team recommended a CTI solution which integrates and works closely with the Oracle, SQL and Vision Plus (VISA worldwide) databases at GE SBI.

“The proposed system would provide a Computer Telephony solution using the Lucent Switch and Customized IVR based server and Client application. The system would be placed at the head office at New Delhi. The system would be able to transfer the incoming call to the agent or pick the information from a chosen database and reflect the results to the consumer on the Telephone. GE – SBI would also integrate the system to the CRM package used. The above system would provide an on-line process of managing and answering the queries of prospective customers. “
