The world’s 17th largest petroleum company and India’s largest company has decided to implement Alliance universus- a unified messaging system.

Alliance Universus is a unified messaging solution that aims at gathering diverse messages of different types and making them available to the user through a single integrated interface anytime, anywhere. In this way, the user can access his/her messages from one physical place and manage them seamlessly through the same interface.
Alliance will install the following modules of Universus.

Phone 2 – e- mail: Employees can access voice messages not only using any phone but also using any web browser, Every time the employee gets a new voice mail, the same will be forwarded as a voice attachment to the respective email account. It allows downloading voice mails on PC. The solution has unmatched compression standards without compromising on the sound quality i.e. one minute of voice recording can be compressed into 60 KB.

Fax 2 - e-mail: The organization can enable the employees to receive faxes straight into their email accounts. Users can receives fax directly on the mailbox, with out any human intervention

Notification: Whenever a user receives a new voice, fax or e-mail message in his mailbox, the system sends a notification of arrival of a new message to the user. The system can send a notification by dialing out the landline number, CDMA, or mobile of the user or the system send a SMS to the user on his mobile.
