Introduction
|

This course provides in-depth coverage of UNIX at the kernel interface level. UNIX is a mature multi-user, multi-tasking OS, powered by over 30 years of active research and development.
UNIX is the OS of choice for most non-trivial system development, cross-platform development, and mission critical operations.
No prior programming experience with UNIX is assumed. This module is for programmers who wish to learn the details of the services provided by UNIX systems at the programming level.

Prerequisite
|
At least 2 year programming experience in C/C++.
Some experience using UNIX.
OS fundamentals
B.E./ B. Tech/ MCA
