Introduction

This module provides in-depth knowledge of Vx-Works, the high-performance real-time operating system. Vx-Works is the RTOS of choice for embedded real-time development.

Prerequisite

1. In addition to the basic requirements candidate must have at least 1 year programming experience in C/C++.

2. OS fundamentals

3. B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA

Why Embedded Module?

The module shall make you a competent developer in the application of Vx-Works to provide solutions for real-time applications. Demand for such applications exist in the areas of telecommunications, embedded consumer products, scientific and defense applications.

What will you achieve?

At successful completion of the module you will be able to:

• Setup and use Vx-Works

• Use Vx-Works facilities in the development of real-time applications.

• Use target-resident tools included in Vx-Works.

• Use optional components like Vx-VMI, Vx-MP, and WFC.
