ACT-101: CT Fundamentals
This course is intended to provide an introduction to the world of telephony, telephone networks, and telephony functionality. It is designed as a prerequisite for an individual pursuing a complete working knowledge of computer telephony.
Pre-requisite
Candidate must have advance knowledge of Computer Science.(memory management, configuration management, threads, CPU handling)
Should have sound knowledge of C, C++.

Why Telephony Fundamentals?
Telephony Fundamental course helps in learning different terminology of Computer Telephony, its solution, and its applications in various areas. This course discusses about different types of signaling (analog and digital), concepts of PBX, ACD, ISDN, E-1, Voice Responding Unit, etc. This also discusses about the standards used in Telephony, Basic Call Capabilities of Telephony. The essentials of Telecommunications and technology used have been discussed.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to define CT terminology, understand customer motivation for CTI and CT media solutions, explain CTI services, and will have experience planning a number of complete CT solutions.
