Alliance Infotech's order tracking/WIZMO (where-is-my-order) product, Alliance Procure Connect (APC) has gone mobile with its SMS notification component. The product extension aims to cater to the up-to-the-minute-information needs of the subscribers of APC. Previously, APC information retrieval was already possible through web, email and fax media. According to Arvind Gopalakrishnan, Chief Web Technologist, the new feature can be added to the APC systems shipped so far and will come as a standard in the new roll-outs. This new feature has been yet another step in Alliance's philosophy of developing services/tools for the converging telecom and internet markets.
